Music Lessons are currently offered for:
An exciting part of learning to play music is being able to perform music on stage with other musicians in front of an audience. It emphasizes teamwork and listening, and is a confidence builder and motivator. Plus, it's a whole lot of fun!
Benefits of a group performance music program:
In our Legends Music Academy Onstage performance program, students participate in individual lessons, group rehearsals, and a session ending concert featuring a song of the student's choice.
LMAO performance students receive 10 weekly, private half hour lessons, plus four group rehearsals. Students are placed in ensembles or bands to perform in a concert at the end of the 12 week session. Rehearsals are held on weeks 11-12 and the final concert performance is held in the 12th week. A break week with no lessons is usually the 13th week, then the next session resumes (except for Christmas week, which is always a break week).
LMAO performance program students also have an opportunity to perform their song in a videotaped mini-concert for friends and family on the Legends stage each quarter.
LMAO performance program students also get first consideration when musical entertainment opportunities in the community happen. Legends students are often featured at the local Farmer's Market, Pork Festival and more.
Our Quarterly Performance Program calendar is currently on hold due to COVID-19. We expect to resume the quarterly program in January 2021.
Individual weekly lessons and friends and family performances are still on-going. Contact us for more details.
